DIY Shower Jelly

Learn to make your own novelty shower and bath jellies using ingredients very simple inexpensive ingredients probably already in your kitchen now.


These delightful bath treats are easy to make, nourishing to your skin which make them the perfect handcrafted gift.

They are just the right size for a good thorough hand washing,


They can be scented and colored to suit your needs or taste. Add essential oils like Tea Tree or lavender to make them antibacterial. Use it as travel soap to ensure you have on hand if needed when away from home.


Add a pretty burst of color by the sink for a skin nourishing soap especially now that we are more mindful of the important benefits of good basic hygiene habits like washing our hands to protect ourselves and others from viruses.

Bath Jelly Recipe


Ingredients:

¾ c. Water

2 T Unflavored Gelatin

½ c. Liquid (Castile) Soap

1 tsp Salt

Essential / Fragrance Oil - optional

Colorant (skin safe) - optional

Silicone Mold


Directions:

Place gelatin in a bowl

Add Hot Water

Whisk until dissolved

Add salt / stir

Add liquid soap / stir

Add Fragrance & color /stir

Pour in mold

Refrigerate for 2-4 hours


store in a cool dry place
